My Border Collies love to chew each other's collars. After looking through a few nylons, we came across these. It took a few tries to get the right size for each dog, but they won't chew on it. We put them on every dog like choke chains. however, eliminated the choke part by using a large split ring to put their markers on both large rings at the end of the chain. Runs like a champ and is very durable.

This chain is the perfect length and thickness for my dog and makes a world of difference when we go for a walk. She weighs about 35 pounds and her neck is 15 inches long. Her original chain was a 17" and smaller; she pretty much ignored his presence as I pulled up. The next one I bought was a 22" and larger. I have been using this collar 2 or 3 times a day for several weeks. This works very well for my 6 month old 60lb Black Lab pup. He loves to draw. With his strong neck, it doesn't slow him down much, but it works well enough for me to control him. Although he still draws. He is a very strong puppy. My dog wears the third chain collar. I use this collar for both training and walking and would recommend the chain collar to anyone who has a dog. My dog is quite strong for his size and broke two chain collars before I bought this one. Over time, their tugs tore the closed ends of the chain links until one of them let go.
