Be careful these lenses can hurt you badly

I did not receive the item described above, I received a damaged/opened box which contained a piece of polycarbonate or possibly acrylic. however. Not premium Scotch glass with shade 10 gold coating. Not even a shade. This will weld your eyes to the puddle. This is a dangerous mistake. If I were new to welding I might fall for this. I would happily give these people zero stars. Artists at Garbage Con. Garbage welding goggles.

Very clear lenses but could be better. I have been a welder for over 10 years and I can say that there is no magic lens that will make you a better welder. But as far as the lenses that are currently being made, gold lenses are the best. Now the image you see is blue/green rather than actual gold/amber. Lanse was clean with no defects except for a small chip in one of the corners. But it cannot be seen and it does not let any light through. What I don't like, and it might as well just be a…

I honestly don't know what's so special about them. They are sharp BUT every welding lens I buy from Philips Safety has this huge annoying long vertical flare on the arc. I've tried using it with different hoods to always get the signature Philips Safety shine. In addition, the glass filter plate itself looks very cheap. It looks like they split it with a chisel and hammer and the edges of the glass aren't polished and it just has a very brittle, fragile vibe, like sneezing into a hood would…
