This little machine is wonderful. The crankshaft uses a ball bearing shaft. The bearings were a bit tight when I first unpacked them, but they adjusted easily (like a wheel on a bike). The whole assembly is very strong and quickly processes any coconut, resulting in very soft and fluffy coconut flakes. I love this little gadget.

I would give this thing four stars but I'm giving it three because it's always a problem when trying to grab or scrape a coconut. No matter how hard you tighten the bottom screw with the table, it will move before you've finished a coconut. So you always have to tighten that bottom nut or bolt. and it is painful and tiring!

I have tried a suction cup grater and an industrial grater. While the suction cup was awkward to use, this one is pinched and won't budge. Helps enormously if you want to rub quickly. The protective plastic case is great if you have kids. It's more like you fix it once and then use it. Usually finds its place on the kitchen island. The transportation is troublesome, the only thing that confuses is the price.

Terrible design! 1. Dull knives 2. 2 out of 3 reels are the same Catch a little and crack, the bottom is rubberized, but does not help from slipping. Cheap plastic. The first reviews of the product are good, but they are of the same type and are too unnatural, what a pity that I didn’t grow up on this earlier. DO NOT BUY
