I have a 2018 Chevy 1500 6.2L V8. To be honest I installed the Black OPS Badlander with the Flow Master dual exhaust. Without them the truck sounded great and I was a little worried it would be uncomfortable to drive. To my surprise, it wasn't at all. The sound is much better when starting and when you step on the gas pedal you hear it. But other than that, it just sounds like a powerful pro engine idling, not the loud, sickening sound of a teenager breaking glass. I make this statement I know.

Installed on my 2018 Silverado with a 5.3 liter V8 engine. Installation was easy and the instructions that came with it were great. Mileage increase: from new to 8500 miles, trip computer showed 17 MPG Now the truck has just done 10,000 miles and trip computer shows 19 MPG. This is the third intake I've tried on my 2015 Silverado 5.3L. The first was the SLP Blackwing, which was so loud I ended up taking it off. It sounded good but too much for me. Then I tried the Airaid MIT, it's just a tube. A nice improvement in bass response and a noticeable slight increase in power at high rpm, but the sound is almost non-existent compared to the original.
