🚗 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: High Performance Upgrade for 2011-2018 Ford Turbo Ecoboost 3.5L V6: Boost Horsepower with 69-3531TS Review

It was an easy install. I can actually hear the turbine spinning and the relief valve. Especially when I use the manual paddle shifters and put my foot on the gas when shifting gears. Gas mileage hasn't increased because I'm more invested in it because I want to hear it.

K&N has mostly improved acceleration over 45mph in our 2018 Ford Explorer Sport. Maybe a little picked up fuel economy. I think it starts easier. There is a slight change in sound that most people like. I prefer more power and fuel economy. I would buy this again. I find these prices too high. They should only be factory installed!

I love the K&N air intake but the installation wasn't as easy as they said. For some reason I had to thread all the hex screw holes. None of them matched. Simply rotate 3 times and then plug. What do you mean, it's not finished yet. Very frustrating. But it's in there and if you step on the gas while driving, the sound is amazing. Hp to decide really do not feel the difference, the track needs to get time to see the difference

Dear K&N products always bring happiness. However, they are expensive and I would bet on other cars if they were cheaper. The fit and finish is good, but far from perfect. Inlet tube and/or fitting may be slightly longer to meet requirements. Never fits as well as the factory. You can hear the turbo better now and my wife even likes it. Haven't noticed any increase in fuel consumption. It didn't get any worse. Recommended if you just want more fun driving.

My previous truck had a K&N air intake and I was very happy with it. Even before I bought my new Explorer Sport (3.5 V6 Turbo) I had already selected it and bought it the day after I brought the truck home. Can't say much about the mpg increase as no real history but did notice an improvement in response and acceleration as well as being a bit louder than the stock pickup. It was very easy to install. I pre-assembled some parts the night before and then the installation took about 30 minutes.

I've been a big fan of K&N and their filters/air intakes for years. I had one on my 2009 Mustang GT and it was fantastic and easy to install. I bought it for my Explorer Sport 2014. The installation was not difficult. Only cursed a few times. Quality is what you expect from K&N. At the highest level. The noise it provides is just an air intake but makes the turbos and exhaust valve MUCH more audible. Unfortunately, this does not make the engine sound hoarser. The performance boost is so-so. All right. I had a K&N air intake on a previous car and it made a huge difference in gas mileage and gave the 4 cylinder a deep guttural growl. As with all K&N products, the reception quality is excellent, but the verdict on the benefits is still pending.
