One of the two has small dark spots on the sole. Haven't tried removing it in any way yet as I may be doing more harm than good. I contacted CH support to help me get rid of this. I hope they find a way. I suspect some of the color of the stapler has transferred to the sole during storage. Anyway, I didn't expect shoes at this price point to have such questionable issues. I have been discussing these shoes for almost 3 months. Now that I have them I will never go back! These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had, and far from it. I get compliments on their style every time I wear them, and to top it off, I got them at Revain for about $70 less than anywhere else. I am very happy with the purchase. I would say go about a half or a full size smaller than you normally wear. I read that in some reviews and I'm glad I did.

I saw Cole Haan had a 65% sell out but no returns or refunds. I went to Amazon and they had the same pair of shoes for the same retail price with a return or exchange. I ordered a 9.5 based on reviews that the shoes wear for a long time. Glad I did as 10 would have been too long in the toe box. Great shoe. I love her. Super comfortable, light, airy. . . but goes big. Although I read other reviews to order half a size down, I still ordered my "true" size. . . I ended up sending them back and bought a smaller size instead. Don't waste time: buy these shoes *and* a half size smaller.
