....according to my Ford formula I need a switch with a long stem and bulletproof. This happened with the previous two types, which fell apart under heavy use.

I think this switch is well made. It has a good, solid, comfortable click. This is a cheap alternative to my ignition switch Super C. It has worked without problems for several years.

I typically use Cole Hersee switches in my RV for the quality and reliability they offer and the confidence that they will work when needed. I mainly use them for my LED lights in the bays of my RV. Highly recommended!

The switch works great! Replaced a faulty switch of the same type on my '69 Glasspar Citation windshield wipers. This EXACTLY matched the existing switches and helped maintain the factory look on my boat. I'd say if you need it, keep an eye out for the 'old school' chrome shifter.
