🧥 Columbia Buck Butte Insulated Hooded Jacket for Men Review

I was very happy to buy this jacket for its color (off white) more than the design, really dirty gray which I don't like at all. The gray part doesn't have that shine, it's just gray. Overall it's totally different from the photo, plain design and definitely not worth the $80 I paid for it.

Great jacket for my 13 year old son! Exactly what I wanted, warm, well finished, well insulated. I hope this will keep him warm in the North Carolina winter months when he gets off the bus or on cold days. Synthetic down is better, so I know we don't run the risk of allergies. I ordered the small as he is not yet full male size and his size is hard to find as he has outgrown the children's department and has not yet matured!

Good:1. Lightweight and extremely flexible, allows great mobility2. Warm enough for 40 degree weather and above3. Fitting Errors: 1. The medium size was too small for me at 5ft 7in and 165lbs. 2. Not warm enough for winter in colder climates. 3. Expensive lightweight jacket. The jacket is ideal for light to moderate activity in colder northern climates. There is one small complaint: After two weeks, the loop to hang the coat on the hook broke. I was very surprised. My heavy winter raincoat, also from Columbia, lasted a year without fault. Otherwise, Columbia has proven to design and manufacture jackets that live up to their stated purpose and function. My son is 1.70 m tall and has an athletic build – thin, with broad shoulders and a long torso.
