but it worked just as well.

No complaints, fits my GE GXWH40L high flow whole house filtration system. I looked for a GE brand filter but this worked just as well.

Suitable for water filters and softeners

Bought the same filters before and they worked fine. But the new one I got just doesn't fit right. It seemed too big for my GE GXWH35F SmartWater case. Lick bad every time I tried.

If you have terrible well water this should put a smile on your face.

these filters work great. They do exactly what much more expensive filters did. I have well water and it's pretty bad so I have to change the filters often, probably every 6 weeks. I know they should last about 3 months but at this price I can afford to change them without being stressed.

Incorrect installation - replacement water filter

Filter out of spec and didn't fit

This was out of spec and didn't fit, ended up throwing it away and got a new one from a home store that did meet spec. According to the description they are compatible. The problem is that the filter is too high and does not allow the housing to close tightly.
