I DON'T TRUST IT Good for interiors

YEARS AGO I HAD A DESK VERSION OF MR GASKET, IT WAS EASIER TO USE. YOCAN HAS INCREDIBLE HP AND YOU DON'T KNOW WHY. YOU CAN GET STATISTICS FROM A DYNO STREET SHEET AND YOU WILL NOT GET A REASONABLE NUMBER EVEN NEARBY

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Engine test bench control software is OK.

Engine performance test program is fine. Good for a rough idea of everything. Comp cams are fine, but for Ford or Mopar owners there are cams that use a larger lifter diameter, no special order required. I've had good products from Howard's Cams.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • I won't say anything

It has a little bug

The program works fine but the iteration part is terrible compared to the desktop version of Dyno 2000 I had for Windows 98. Actually, I bought an old Windows 98 computer just to use my old program. I'm giving 3 stars because everything else works fine.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Works great if you know the specs and parameters of the motor you want to simulate. I was expecting it to use some stock engines as templates, like a 5.7L Vortec etc. It doesn't. So be prepared to enter a lot of data that you have to look up in manuals or on the Internet or make assumptions.

Pros
  • One Year Trial

NO COSTS! for dash covers

IS USELESS. To put it mildly, too much. The old Dynosim 4 might have had a few horsepower. This must not be less than 50 hp! That's 50 high torque and 50 low horsepower!. I wish I had lost the activation key for my old Dyno Sim 4 program that I needed when upgrading to my new laptop. This program has all the same inputs but reads strange compared to verified dyno runs and old dynosim 4 files that were within 5hp. from proven test bench runs. DO NOT BUY! Comp Cams Free Camera Software, Comps Cam

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Protection

Easy to use and easy to add information about your engine

This is a good tool for the money. I had two actual base runs on two different engines in the files. One was 383 and the other 406 SBC. In both cases, this software was a very good match for Peak HP. However, peak torque was estimated to be around 50 ft-lbs in both cases. However, actual power and torque curve profiles were very accurate from 3,000 to 7,000 rpm. So I like this tool to see how different combinations affect power and torque profiles. Of course, I would be very interested to know…

Pros
  • a good thing
Cons
  • mostly good but...

Very good product! fits interior

First of all I would like to say that I am by no means a professional engine builder. However, I have several engine assembly and modification projects under my belt. So please consider my "Qualification" when reading this review. The reason I bought this simulator was because I needed help choosing a camshaft for my latest engine project. Rather than seek the opinions of well-meaning friends and internet forum "experts," I decided to invest $50 in this product and objectively find out for…

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Non automatic
