Dog grooming kit - my new review

It has worked very well. On 1st of arrival I used it on my Snorkie, he loves to be groomed! So this is a big hit with him! That's my review!

Good Quality on my review.

I really like the set. Its light weight, scissors are nice and sharp and work well. Holes are a good sz can even fit a mans hand. But this is the only fault I could find , the comb and all the clippers are smaller than I expected. But for the price you cant beat it.

  • Wish I was a professional. It’s a good thing my Pom does not talk.

  • The scissors could be difficult to use on pets with curly or wavy fur

Probably not the norm

My scissors came with a flawed blade. There's some kind of substance stuck to one of the scissors. I've used some of the other sissors twice now and they already need to be sharpened.Side note: the nail clippers are for small dogs.

  • As described and works well. The nail clippers worked great on our Jack Russell and our Chins.

  • The clippers may not be powerful enough for some pets

Great for a beginner like me.

First time trimming my puppy's hair and the scissors worked great and the tips were rounded so I couldn't nick or cut the skin. Came with a nice case to keep them all together.

Pros
  • I love the case, and the set. They are nice to use and the case is perfect.

  • The blades could rust over time

Live and learn: my feedback

I should have returned purchase at an appropriate time period. the thinning shears were dull the first time I used them.oh well

  • Great product overall. I groomed my dog for the first time and these worked just as expected

Good Quality for my opinion

Unfortunately I’m only giving these 4 stars and not 5 because I haven’t used all of them yet. So far they are excellent! I have used the thinning shears, and the comb. Easy to handle. I have arthritis and that is important. Really love the comb. My dog is a mix of Great Py and Austrian Shepherd. Thick coat and it really helps getting through all those layers. Good product! Good Quality!

Great kit! on my review.

This is a great value for the money. The scissors have a nice weight to them. I did a quick trim on my pup, and the scissors clipped nicely. This was my first time using thinning shears, and I must say I really liked how they kept the feathering on my pup’s tail. I like the case for storage. I haven’t tried the nail clippers, so no information on how well those work. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase!

  • So easy to use, love the blunt ends don't have to worry about cutting my dog or stabbing him =)

  • The comb may scratch or irritate the skin if too stiff

Good price for what you get.

Grooming my Golden Retriever was easy with this kit, except the toe nail clipper was for tiny dogs. Mine is 90 pounds. Love the curved scissors though!

Must have for grooming

Wow, what a set ! No more groomers for me. My golden loves the combing, great about getting his undercoat. The shears are awesome for using around my Carrin Terriers little body!

Poor quality for my opinion

The nail clippers are super hard to cut nails and the scissors are not that sharp. I cut one piece of hair and they needed to be adjusted. I want a pair that work amazing. These were not them.

Pros
  • Great scissors, they cut quit nicely. They will need some soft grip so they are not hurting you fingers.
Cons
  • The scissors could create uneven cuts if not held correctly
