I will be the next MASTER!

This is cool stuff. I teach myself how to make molds and it definitely helps to master the sculpting techniques. I don't spend tons of dollars and silicon to learn. Just warm up and repeat. I love it so much I went to their website and bought a few more in bulk. (I assume the price per pound was the same, but I'm pretty sure Revain somehow gets a cut of the $ here on Revain.) Very cool stuff!

I bought this gel to make molds for art projects. I am very tired of making disposable molds from expensive silicone mold systems. I received the "used" gel in a lump, not as shown in the photos. I suspect someone bought it, tried it and sent it back - poured into a plastic bag. Anyway, I melted it down and converted it into muffin cups so it would be easier to use later. I also did a test cast. The item I threw came out fine. I wouldn't say the detail was perfect, the gel is a bit soft toโ€ฆ

Let's talk about using concrete with these forms, I'm not keen on that.

I am making concrete pots and their trays. I have a great system for making pots, but trays are a whole different beast and I thought it might be worth trying out ComposiMold to replicate and mold some of the existing trays that I like. I'm a bit disappointed with the results of using concrete. with this fabric. BUT, considering the properties and peculiarities of ComposiMold, it becomes clear why I am not getting optimal results. It's a fantastic product, great price, great concept and theโ€ฆ
