I've tried it on my daughter a few times but it's not that easy to get her hair looking like the video. It took several tries before it was even close to what it looks like on videos and photos. For the brand and the price I expected more. My favorite way to style my daughter's hair is by hand.

I love this product I bought this because it reminded me of my childhood, it is good for curly and straight hair, my friend has done some perfect twists with this product but if you have wavy/curly hair like me make sure you do the sections very well if you have no regrets.

I bought this as a gift for my 8 year old daughter, she loves it. She can use it herself, but she likes it better when I use it on her because I can do the back of her head, which is a little harder for her. This tool only twists the hair, once this part is complete you will need to twist the tool by hand to complete the "rope look".

Bought this to curl bangs on my braid, not for children's hair. This works great for weaving/twisting fringes. I bought this instead of a traditional fringe twister because it's battery operated so you don't have to twist it.

TERRIBLE! It was a Christmas present and it never worked. It was resold on TV as a cool thing for young girls to get their hair done. We read the instructions and I (mother) was the guinea pig. It was completely twisted and looked awful. We have tried hair on dolls several times, my hair. That is nonsense! Not worth the money or the hassle!

It's ok but I wouldn't recommend it. I've seen several commercials showing the top twisted into a real twist. It's not like this. I feel like I wasted my money and I could do individual curves by hand

The old one rotates in both directions, this new one only rotates in one direction and needs to be rotated. Not satisfied with the product.

I never leave reviews but I almost didn't buy this product for $12 because of all the negative reviews my husband said. Just try it yourself and I'm so glad I did!
