Good for 2.5 " SSDs, not so good for 3.5 " HDDs

I bought this because my case doesn't have hard drives in the top Rack supported when using a water cooling radiator. Structure The bracket is a one-piece stamped sheet metal part, which means that the connection between the body and the base acts like a hinge, which means that when used in a tower case there is no support against sagging. This is even worse for me as I modified it to fit two 3.5" hard drives since it was only designed for one. As you can see in my drawing I installed a…

Pros
  • Mounts and attaches to 3.5" drive bay
Cons
  • Poor

1 screw is not enough.

The idea and design of this product is really good and useful. I have a lot of 3.5" hard drives lying around and inherited a beautiful machine, which only had 4 drive bays. With this product I was able to "mount" the hard drive into free slots on the system! I'm not sure how often this happens, but the problem I see is that when using only 1 screw hole the weight of the 3.5" drive mounted on it makes it wobble at best and if it breaks it can be dangerous. A minor design change adding a second…

Pros
  • Support 1 x 2.5" SSD/HDD
Cons
  • The list will be long.

No more storage places? This fixes it.

I built a NAS using NAS4Free software and 10 drives. I need to add another drive, but there are no more bays in the case. This fixes it. This is a nice, tidy spot to fit a couple of SSDs or a standard hard drive.

Pros
  • Strong and durable metal construction
Cons
  • Some flaws
