About what I expected

Rerades on finger. I compared it to my pulse oximeter and they were close. I get readings for my dog but they are everywhere. I don't think they are anywhere near accurate.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Expensive

It's not reading my dog's oxygen

I've tried everything on my dog. My vet told me it's in the ear or somewhere else where the vein is, but that's impossible, my dog hasn't got a clue. Too bad. I have a chihuahua

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Something else

Not the best test kits for aquariums

Despite many attempts by our veterinary technicians and with several surgical cats, we were unable to get the monitor to record oxygen levels or heart rate. . However, the customer service was excellent (I rate customer service a 5). The monitor received a "1" for not working.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Not trendy

Works for humans too!

My grandfather has very calloused fingers because he has worked in construction all his life, so the conventional pulse oximeter on his fingers did not work. When he was discharged from hospital with Covid we used this on his earlobe to check his oxygen levels. Worked great and his nurse was impressed with our ingenuity.

Excellent Portable SpO2 Monitor

The product came quickly, it's very portable and easy to use. Allows you to disable or enable the pulse tone. The hardest thing is finding a good spot for a pet, but that has nothing to do with a car. If you're having trouble, try spraying alcohol as well. Battery life is also good and doesn't need to be changed often (unless you leave the device on when not in use).

Pros
  • Cool Product

  • Some Flaws

This is the aquarium test kit

Pulse oximeters do not usually work well on animals. This one is no exception. For some patients it reads quite well. For others it is useless. But for a budget device, it performs as well or even better than others in its class. And it works fine on my own finger. I suspect that despite being labeled as veterinary, it's just a repackaged human entity. But it has a funny beep that usually goes off. I tell my assistant that it looks like the dummy headlights in your car. When he gets upset, the…

At first I was upset and even completed a return for the time being.

At first I was ready to toss it in the trash as a FAIL. NO non-sedated animal will put that on their tongue! Ear. was not read. Here's what I learned: Put it in your ear so the red light is in the ear. It has to stay red all the time to be read, and certainly not fast. You may need to move it to different locations to get a reliable reading. I first got SPO2 in the 80's but with pink tongue and gums. Play with it and move it around to find the "sweet spot" on your pet's ear.
