Easy installation, very quiet operation!

Factory belt replaced with this one today. My 5.4 liter Ford engine was making all sorts of squeaking noises before work and now it's just a whisper. This belt is fantastic.

I have used this belt on several Ford pickups because of the noise. I just put this on my new 2005 F150 at 90K. Very quiet belt. I am sure that this one will also last 90,000 km.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Minor issues

Quiet and great price!

Installed a new belt on my 06 F150 and a week later it creaked. After a bit of troubleshooting I ordered this belt and the squeaking stopped immediately. The price is amazing and has been running quietly for a few weeks.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Very expensive

Chirp away! good for serpentine

My Buick Regal 91 is rarely used being a production car but since I bought it it was annoying and squeaked no matter which belt was on. I've always gotten away temporarily with a few water jets, so I decided to give this one a try. problem completely fixed. I assume there is a slight misalignment in the pulley somewhere, in any case I am very happy with it.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good quality, seems very quiet, would buy again

Got a good price when I bought it and so far it has worked great. Replaced that and the idler pulley which was noisy on my '95 LeSabre with a 3800 Series I engine and has been running quiet and well ever since. I don't have a good comparison of this belt to a belt without teeth but it seems very quiet and does the job. I also JUST noticed that it is listed as not compatible with my LeSabre. It WAS when I bought it but that seems to have changed. Although it seems to fit and does its job well.

  • Few competitors

It's the belt! - Parts

I installed a brand new serpentine belt on my Chevy pickup and after 200 miles the belt was squeaking horribly. My mechanic said the problem was the belt, but the belt manufacturer said no, the problem was either the alignment or the tensioner or the idler pulley. I replaced the idler pulley and tensioner with new GM parts. I reinstalled the "probably defective" belt and the belt squeaking could be heard again immediately. Thinking the belt manufacturer might be wrong, I ordered this…

  • Very Good Price

The best in belts, hoses and pulleys

Gatorback meets performance. Had a horrible screech in an '89 jeep. Replaced the belt with a competitor. Did not help. Replaced again, a few days of silence and screeching again. Gator installed and quiet. A few days later, the alligator broke off a rib. I found that my vibration damper was coming out of the crank and misaligned, damaging the belt. I used the same damaged belt with only four ribs, misaligned it on the crank pulley to line up with the other pulleys, and the belt without a rib…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Protection

Works on my 2006 Ford F-150 with 5.4 engine

My old belt visibly snapped at the grooves so I replaced it as a precaution. After some research I chose this belt over the OEM because it was the same price and could be quieter. I can't say I feel a difference, but I've never thought of the belt making an unusually loud noise. It's been a few weeks and no problems so far. I'll try to update the review if I run into any issues, but this seems like a decent strap. And it's pretty quick to install on this truck. I probably spent 15-20 minutes…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not bad
