Good quality tubes. Worth the extra cost.

These whistles seem to be of better quality than the ones I have used in the past, made in Asia. The rubber seems to be a little thicker. The Presta valve and fittings appear to be of higher quality. The camera is much easier to use when inserted into the tire during assembly. The air intake seems to get a little less over time. Highly recommended. Note. Some customers report tube failure after installation. This is usually because the tubing is pinched under the bead or talc was not used…

Useless! Broke after 3 days of regular use.

Expected more from Continental. It turns out this is terrible quality. 3 days after replacing my previous camera with a new Continental, it broke. Not a hole or a hole, no, a big hole in the hose. And no, nothing got in the pipe. It was an impromptu break. Looks like quality control didn't work at Continental. I bought 2 of these cameras but I will not be using the second one. Worst quality I've ever seen. I've seen cheaper brands that produce better quality.

Good quality so far

My first review was that it's very good quality but I haven't ridden it for more than a few hours so far. Easy to fit (Continental Ride Tour City/Trekking bike tires, 26 x 1.75), the valve stem appears to be of good quality and very long, solid metal, not rubber like some inner tubes. I mounted it on my old 1980's Fisher Mt Tam with new tires and was surprised at how smooth and quiet the wheels were. No hesitation over the years and many very rocky rides in my younger years on Marin County's…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Presta valve?!? Do not worry!

It is difficult to find an indoor camera in this COVID situation. So this tube with the Presta valve was my only chance to fix my tire. I have a 26 inch mountain bike that I have never ridden in the mountains and it originally comes with a charade valve (standard). Firstly I doubt it would fit my tire but it fit very well. In addition, it is manufactured by Continental, which is known for its quality products. Many pumps come with a Presta valve adapter, but if you don't have a Presta valve…

Nice tube, very wide and thick stem base, not good for narrower rims

I had trouble mounting it with a nut against the rim because the valve stem base is too wide. I had to unscrew the nut, mount the tire and try to tighten the nut. The base of the stem base is now pushing against the inside of the tire bead - meaning the valve isn't tight against the rim - resulting in a very small stem going through my double wall touring rim. I have enough room to connect the pump with the lock nut mounted. It's very firm and lasts a week. Let's see if the tube is subjected to
