🩳 Optimized Continental Competition Cycling Hose Review

Simply the best inner tube from Continental, great for racing. They have excellent road holding on dry and wet roads and allow you to turn confidently.

The product was delivered quickly and met all expectations. One of the best reed pipes on the market. Good balance between thread wear, cut resistance and elasticity. Mileage more than 2000 km on two sets. So far no problem.

This is a professional tire - very well made and hard wearing. I've been riding these tires for over 20 years and only had one flat tire! A flat tire can ruin hours of training and preparation for an important event, so why take the risk?

Bought spare tires and put them in a crate after 6-9 months. I rode it a few times and then competed in a small triathlon. In triathlon, I cornered too hard on the sidewalk and slid sideways in the corner, but I didn't fall. When I was done I found the tire as shown in the picture. I contacted the seller who referred me to Continental for the warranty. Two visits to the Continental website with no response within a few weeks. I've had good luck with these tires in the past. Not so much now.

The first set I had was broken by a piece of glass before the tread wore out. After a short pit stop, I was able to start my journey home. Replaced these with gp4000's which were great until after about 6 months there were big cracks all over the sides which only got bigger - if you were so inclined you could take a piece and rip off the top layer.
