Description of Continental ContiVikingContact 7 205/65 R15 99T Winter

Continental VikingContact 7 is a directional winter tire with a non-studded tread developed by German developers for use in the harsh conditions of the Nordic countries. They are characterized by reliable grip on icy and snowy roads, as well as stable handling and braking performance on melted snow and wet asphalt. Winter tire Continental ContiVikingContact 7 is suitable for almost any modern passenger car. Available in dozens of sizes for 14" to 20" wheels. It is characterized by improved grip and directional stability on snowy and wet surfaces compared to the previous model. Active Grip Silica. The running part of the tire tread is made of a rubber compound, which includes Active Grip Silica. The complex of substances based on silicon dioxide allows the compound to remain elastic at extremely low temperatures. At the same time, rapeseed oil provides high tensile and tensile strength of the tread, which allows it to maintain integrity not only in severe frosts, but also when driving at high speed. Updated tread pattern. Another key difference from the previous model is the tread pattern. Designed from scratch, the design is symmetrical with diamond-shaped blocks in the central part. The edges formed by them are located at a large angle, increasing their total length. The result is both longitudinal and lateral traction, as well as resistance to aquaplaning and slashplaning. Each block has a large number of lamellae. Narrow sipes enhance traction on wet and packed snow, while their undulations and wall lugs enhance steering precision. Excellent traction and braking properties: This Continental ContiVikingContact 7 model was one of the first to use 3D-Trapez sipes. These slots are distinguished by an unusual trapezoidal shape of the inner walls. It increases the height of the edges formed when the slats open. When the so-called "pockets" are formed, filled with snow from the road surface. Since these elements are arranged at small angles relative to the direction of travel, this design ensures maximum efficiency in longitudinal accelerations. bridges between blocks. At the bottom of the drainage grooves between the blocks there are special jumpers. They rigidly connect the tread elements to each other, limiting their mutual mobility. This significantly improves traction stability when maneuvering, making driving easier due to more transparent feedback on the steering wheel. The main features of Continental ContiVikingContact 7: — rubber compound with rapeseed oil and silicon dioxide in the composition; – 3D-Trapez sipes enhance longitudinal grip on wet surfaces and packed snow...

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

Summer is also a Continental brand, I never regretted it, I also bought winter tires from the same manufacturer. I recommend to everyone!

Pros
  • Not noisy, in harsh conditions have not yet experienced, the region is not the same.
Cons
  • Haven't revealed yet

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

The first set of friction tires were put on the vehicle. After using it for a month, I felt that it lived up to my expectations. Handling that is consistent and decent traction on snow as well as asphalt; however, there was no opportunity to test it on ice.

Pros
  • Stillness and reassurance
Cons
  • not disclosed as of yet

In size 235/45R17 It is the most pleasant vehicle in its category, and I would suggest it to anyone who values ride quality. They completely changed my mind about the winter studless tires I had been using.

Pros
  • 1. Quietest tire I've ever ridden! 2. Successfully navigates around any challenges. 3. Grip and maneuverability in snowy conditions. 4. Grip and maneuverability on both dry and wet pavement conditions.
Cons
  • The tire has not been tested on significant ice yet, but I have no doubt that it will perform admirably when it does!

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Before I started riding this rubber it was a winter hankook, but I've been on it for the past two weeks. Both on and off the earth. I have not the slightest regret about making the purchase. I was looking for peace and quiet, and I found it. The winter continental climate is more peaceful than the summer nexen climate.

Pros
  • Effortlessness, gentleness, and, most importantly, silence
Cons
  • On wet pavement sometimes slips

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

Pros: 1. Tires are quite quiet. 2. Maintain the same level of grip with ice as studded tires. 3. Free service for your tires. 4. Excellent appearance. Having this drawback: 1. An expensive investment, but one that, once made, becomes clear as to why it was necessary.

Well done, but I wont buy any more.

Hyundai Santa Fe with all-wheel drive as the vehicle. Before Velcro, there were just spikes to fasten things. Quiet, gentle. Outstanding performances by andrulitsya as well as snow and oatmeal on the asphalt. Aquaplaning is no problem. But as the season for ice approached, I found that I was occasionally terrified to leave the yard. Yes, and there were difficulties in the yard in order to avoid leaving the icy rut, and there was also the potential that the vehicle would be turned on its side. I

Pros
  • The calming effect of silence.
Cons
  • Controlling the vehicle on ice and stopping on ice.

Has pros: quiet and soft. on ice in general it performs better than you would expect from a non-studded tire. Cons below: in the dimension 225/55R17 there is no disc protection flange. but in general, due to the bulkiness of the sidewalls, this is not a problem. already clung to the curb - the disk did not hurt.
