Fits 2.7L Santa Fe '03

Originally said not to fit Santa Fe 2003 2.7L. I checked the # part of autozone.com. As soon as I found the part number I placed my order. Installed today and the belt is tight. Works quietly and smoothly.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Functionality

Annoying chirping and squealing disappeared

The strap fitted the stock LS1 setup perfectly the first time. The annoying chirping and screeching disappeared. The belt needed to be replaced, but the squeaking appeared to be due to a bad tensioner causing the original belt to slip under heavy loads. Replacing together solves the problem. This belt seems to be of high quality and good performance.

Cons

Works great for my Jeep and no longer squeaks.

I just ordered another one of these. I try to change every year. I suspect that the jeep owners who complained earlier did not check the descriptions carefully and ordered the wrong jeep for their jeep. This is the differential belt if you have a jeep 4banger without air conditioning instead of say a 6 cylinder with air conditioning. 2 belts in completely different lengths.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Ls1 ak delete. Great belt for any application. DD. QY

I use this on my LS1 Camaro with the A/C compressor/pulley removed. I replaced my belt along with all the other drive belt assemblies and it purrs like a kitten.

Pros
  • Large fit for me
Cons
  • Appearance

Say goodbye to creaking and hello to performance.

The problem with most belts is that they are cheap. These straps don't come cheap, however, and they work admirably. I had several shops and friends told me I had "misaligned" pulleys and a bad idler pulley on my LS1. I could spend hundreds to replace these parts! Even my belt was new because I replaced the water pump, hoses and belt 100 miles ago. nope It was a cheap belt that saved me a few bucks. The new Continental and a few thousand miles later. no violin. End of the story.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Can't remember

Fits vehicles with Z/28 (and SS) Camaro/LS1 engines 1998-2002.

I still don't know why Revain says this is not compatible with all LS1 engine model year vehicles, when Continental themselves list this specific part number for these vehicles on their website. However, Revane is wrong. Thick, stiff and durable at best, this strap outperforms any standard Dayco strap or equivalent all-rubber compound strap. Has much better friction to hold on to pulleys and guides, won't stretch and will stand up to almost anything else. Buy two of these, one for installation…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Negative impression
