I still don't know why Revain says this is not compatible with all LS1 engine model year vehicles, when Continental themselves list this specific part number for these vehicles on their website. However, Revane is wrong. Thick, stiff and durable at best, this strap outperforms any standard Dayco strap or equivalent all-rubber compound strap. Has much better friction to hold on to pulleys and guides, won't stretch and will stand up to almost anything else. Buy two of these, one for installation and one for car storage. It costs the same as cheap straps at a major auto parts store, and you have a fallback option so you're never stuck at the side of the road. Mandatory Star Wars reference. This is the belt you are looking for.
