fitted perfectly and eliminated the annoying "chirp " of the native strap that was.

Arrived in just 3 days USPS of order. fitted perfectly and eliminated the annoying "chirp" from the original strap which was in perfect condition. This type of belt with serrated ribs instead of solid ribs is the solution to get rid of the chirping of V-ribbed belts, even if the old belt is still functional and has no defective bearings. Goodyear makes a serpentine belt of the same type with scalloped ribs called an "alligator". They actually sent me a Gator Goodyear and that's fine, I'm pretty

I even took it to Ford and they told me it was a bad pulley bearing

I've dealt with belt squeaks on my Ford Exploder for years with no success. I even took it to a Ford and they told me it was a bad pulley bearing (because some water on the belt would stop it from squeaking). Eventually I gave up and lived with the annoying squeaking until I couldn't stand it anymore. Went online, found out about these belts from a YouTube video and ordered one. Boom! Installed, car started, no creaking. This size is perfect for my 2002 Exploder (4L V6 SOHC), there are manyโ€ฆ

That was the old trusty Goodyear Gatorback Serpentine Belt Now Continental Elite Some better belts $ Can be purchased and recommended

This is the old Goodyear Gatorback (Gator Back) serpentine belt (Gator Back, serpentine belt, etc.) part of the Costs we used to sell/install at Goodyear when I worked at NC Perry Brothers Goodyear, a Goodyear tire, rubber and belt business. Shop in North Carolina many years ago. The protector of this belt is thick, durable and unique. I never heard a single squeak and never had to change the one I put on. While some stores say "oh you see those cracks on that belt, you need to replace it toโ€ฆ
