Best quality part on belts, hoses and pulleys

The quality of this part appears to be superior to the factory part which has lasted 140,000 miles. I replaced it just as a precaution as I replaced the radiator and all other parts of the cooling system.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Thin

perfect piece in belts, hoses and pulleys

is exactly the part it says on it and it fits perfectly on the truck shipping was quick and being a well known brand at this price point was a bonus with all the parts stores pushing cheap imitations, that's what Goodyear is all about

Pros
  • works great for me
Cons
  • mostly ok but...

Fits Jeep Liberty 3.7 v6 03

Fits 2005 Jeep Liberty 3.7 v6. The idler pulley is larger and feels more solid than the original, and the body is slightly smaller than the original, but this does not affect performance. My packaging said it was made by Continental, but a quick google showed it was the same product. I was expecting it to be made abroad but it is made in Canada. I'll get back to you in a year.ps. It comes with a hex bolt, but if you don't want to use a hex wrench to tighten it: the old bolt will work just fine.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Modernity

Not impressed with the cost.

Looks damn cool right out of the box. The mold they use for casting must be stamped correctly. It has burrs and sharp edges. The tensioner arm does not work as smoothly as the original part that I am replacing. Feels crushed and full of little fixatives. Also, it doesn't shoot in a straight line. When subjected to a torque, it appears to shift in one direction. I'm replacing the factory tensioner because the pulley has both native bearings shot and it has 220,000 miles on it. The belt started…

  • Good product for the price
