Continental Elite GTKWP329 Timing Component Review

I am ordering this item because it was supposed to be a Good Year Gator rear timing kit. I received a timing belt set from Continental. My client was dissatisfied. I receive Continental as a delivery item.

Timing belt fit and installation and all components in this kit are excellent. So far no problems with the parts. I would definitely spend the extra money on a quality kit before spending your money on a cheaper kit.

The block I received was missing a tensioner. It just wasn't there. And of course I didn't look before the project started, so the car was already disassembled and waiting a week for a replacement is not an option. So I lost an extra hundred dollars due to poor quality control as I had to buy it locally. If you buy this, make sure it's ready before you start.

Recently installed on my 2006 Odyssey in a few days. The set is excellent, GMB water pump, rollers and tensioner. Works great so far. I will add in a year I will tell you how long it will last but the quality of the parts is excellent. To update. After 4,000 miles, the water pump cracked in a raised ledge.
