🚴 Continental Giro Tubular Road Bike Tire (27x1/ 700x22c, Tubular) Review

Mine may have been stored for a long time before I used them but they don't last at all. Skinwall started peeling off the frame after a few rides. I'm not even sure I'm using the second one I bought because it was such a hassle scraping the leftover tire off my rim when it finally failed.

If you plan to ride them on the road, be careful. I had a dent around the valve stem and after a week or two the tire would not hold air for well over a half mile. At the moment the stitching around the stem is completely torn and there is no hope of repair. Too bad they're the only cheap option, but it's still better to save up for other tires or rims.

Excellent value for money Spur tyres, so far I'm getting good wear resistance and handling from mine. The stems can be removed if needed and I know cyclists who use deep section rim extensions on Giros.
