Increased the speed by 2 times

So good. They increased my power by at least 75% and reduced drag by about 23%. My bike is twice as good and I feel like Lance Armstrong when he was on good steroids.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Don't lie down.

No matter how hard you tighten them, they will still twist under pressure from the bar ends, used on aluminum bars (Easton EA50) and aluminum bar ends. A long Pedro hex wrench was used to tighten them. Finally, remove the screw inside the insert. It is not recommended to use it with the ends of the poles.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Slightly snapped

You do the trick! in handlebars, headsets and stems

If you have the right handlebar diameter and want to add 20cm on each side, that's the ticket. I have a great mountain bike that I bought used but it's 10 years old. if the steering wheel was already (710 cm). I now have a 750cm rudder which is probably ideal for the North East where the trees are close together.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • unreliable

Finally a handlebar extension that snaps into place.

I've had a couple of bike mirrors that didn't stick out far enough to see the traffic behind you. All you see is your hand in the mirror. I installed the mirror on an extension and got a full view. I turn the mirror inward when moving or storing the bike so you don't bump into it. Second bike I've used them on.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Fine

Solid product on the handlebars

I bought these to expand my MTB handlebar set. They fit perfectly on the steering wheel. Better than I thought they would be. I wouldn't fit bar ends on them, but they're a great way to expand your handlebar set. really the only way. Controltech stuff is always good quality - I will be buying more in the future.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Nothing

Well made but too big for my 22.2mm BMX handlebar; sharpened to fit

3 stars because they appear to be well made but were too big to fit my BMX bars. I brought them a grinder and a metal file and let them work. It's the slightest difference that they were too big, so it didn't take long, but that seems to be a common complaint about them. I will say my rods are cheap unbranded and may not be to the most accurate dimensions and tolerances so I'm not ruling out this being the culprit. Take the chance, you can return it at any time.

Affordable/practical solution for wider cab

I have a set of Ritchey WCS bars that have more camber than most (10°) which I really like except they are a bit narrow at 700mm. It was an extremely affordable and practical solution to my slimming problems. High quality, easy installation. If you have carbon rods I would caution against it. 1) The expansion plug can cause the bars to "pop" and 2) the plug can be too tight to insert as some carbon wall designs are thicker than traditional alloy bars, particularly older carbon fiber models.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Weight

I have a Scott mountain bike with standard 22.2mm handlebars. This bike has so many controls that I really didn't want to squeeze things further with a piece of crank and move everything inward to accommodate some of the new bar ends. I found and researched them here on Revain. It seemed like they were working. Boy did they! I can't find the photos I took straight out of the box. They are very well done. The outer diameter is 22.2 mm. I planned to use them for extensions to install new rod…

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • weak
