Convenient for air conditioning tools and equipment

This is perfect for me in the world of big machines. I can charge the system in the field without worrying about which hoses to take with me.

Perfect price, perfect fit!

Great! brass, not steel. Steel adapters can shear off aluminum/brass fittings if not installed correctly. It's a comfortable fit and no leaks. A staple in my charging kit. The price is perfect.

Works great with heat pump water heater

I have used this adapter to add freon to a Smith heat pump water heater. After 5 years it was taking too long to heat the water and adding a 21oz can of Freon solved the problem. The connector in the heater is R12 so I needed this adapter to connect the hose.

The item arrived with an already defective schrader valve rendering it unusable.

I was hoping for the best from this product as it is shorter than most comparable adapters but unfortunately it arrived with a faulty Schrader valve. I'll be using the adapter for something else, but as the valve itself is an odd size it's hard to find, its original purpose is pretty much up in the air.

Works great for non-automotive HVAC/refrigerators.

This is the adapter you need. It has a pusher valve pin, screws out as easily as screws in (no one-way threads) and seals well. Automotive size R-134 (as on your R-134 gauge kit) for standard air conditioning systems. Suitable for all non-automotive devices. Saves you from the temptation to use R-12/R-22 sensors on an R-134 refrigerator or air conditioner.
