input voltage range is DC 5-30V; output voltage range is DC 0.5-30V, can be arbitrary adjustable; output current can be 3A for long term use, if enhance heat dissipation, it can reach 4A; max output power is 35W, if enhance dissipation, it can reach 50W. LCD displays input/output voltage, output current/output power/output capacity/output time.The module can be set to ON/OFF by default. Safe Protection: the module is with Anti-reverse connection protection of input end, so that it will not burn out when there is reverse connection.Anti-backflow protection at the output end. No need to add anti-backflow diode when charging. Multiple software protection mechanisms are available, and the protection threshold is adjustable. When the working parameters of the module exceed the protection threshold, the output will be automatically turned off. Application: the volt conversion board can be used as an ordinary buck/Boost module with over-current protection; used as a high-power LED constant current driver module; DIY a solar power controller, Battery Charging. DO NOT BUY! THE OUTPUTS WILL BE SHORTED TOGETHER!

I bought this to charge a LiPO battery. The converter's outputs shorted out which (thankfully) sacrificed the BMS on the package to save my house from burning down.

Where have you been?

This is perfect for what I want to do for my next project. I need to charge my lipo but the voltage is very picky. That being said, I can set a custom voltage to charge my cells. I already have BMS, this is the finishing touch.

To put it mildly, disappointing

The first one was unstable for me. Usually no way out. The seller quickly exchanged it for another one. The second block works, but cannot deliver rated power without overheating. I'll keep it, but it doesn't serve its purpose. Maybe I'll find a use for it in the future.

Good compact power supply

I use it with a 12V power supply to provide well regulated power on my test bench. Mainly use it below 12 volts, mainly for current limiting when first starting PCBs in case of some power problems - you can detect a short circuit immediately without blowing a fuse or switch. Nice compact size, easy to use. recommended

Specifications promise a lot - and keep!

I will buy 2 more of these AC units. This is the one I use as the input voltage (13-18VDC) for a homemade alkaline battery charger. I can charge AAA x 4/8, AA x 4/8, 9V and A123 batteries. The energizer is best charged to a full charge of 1.65. Duracell easily goes to 1.5 volts. This device works great with my solar panels which fluctuate between 14.4 and 11.5 volts. I used to have to wait until the battery voltage was between 13.5 and 12 volts or my chargers and other electronic circuits would

The module is rich in functionality and the manual is surprisingly well written for this class of product. But with multiple buttons to set or view them, it can be a bit tricky to set up and control. Intuitive. No, that is not so. Don't lose your guide! The display is easy to read in the dark or in bright sunlight (in transflective mode). Good calibration function. Good application for fixed/limited power with variable input

This is a high performance buck/boost DC/DC converter that doesn't care about the input voltage but will step down or step up to the desired output voltage as required. I tested it with 2 x 8.3V 18650 batteries. Then this converter can give me 5V or 30V output voltage after I rotate the control knob accordingly.
