    Great light for the money

    This light advertised it all! I love all color options. The installation on my aquarium went smoothly. I hid the remote sensor inside my wooden aquarium stand and the remote works fine. I also like the brightness control, which allows me to adjust the brightness to a level that doesn't startle the fish when they surface. I think the only criticism I have is for the flash, strobe, fade and dither buttons. I don't see any serious fish farmer using these knobs as the quick change of lighting is…

    Cool colors and remote control included!

    Excellent light and functionality at an affordable price. Works well and goes with my modified 24g Freshwater Bio Cube. I love that it comes with a remote control and has multiple colors that can be used to customize to suit your preferences or tank theme. I also like that I can dim the lights to give the fish the effect of an evening day (would be nice if it could do that automatically). For those who know and want to use the timer, this works with the timer as long as it's on before the timer

    The thing is good. It sits on my Fluval Spec 5 gal at only the lowest width setting. It seems to me that most of the new settings are the same - those that blink or dim - except for the last one, which is smooth and perfect. for your discos with fish jam. Other colors are fun morning, afternoon and evening, and there are some brightness settings. Not sure if it's that or something else, but it seems to have gone down a size small.     Great product, I have two side by side for my large tank

    I bought two of these to hang over my 40 gallon pre-tank. I simply removed the extensions and placed them on the plexiglass strip in my hood, which works like a charm. It was actually cheaper than buying one of the longer lightbars of this type made by other manufacturers (and intended for tanks like mine) and I like this light better anyway.     So far these lights are amazing. I love all the different color options. I was hoping I could adjust the colors (e.g. 40% red and 60% blue) instead of choosing from preset colors, but it doesn't hurt since there are so many options. I will say that the Flash, Strobe, Fade and Dither options are a bit odd. The flash will flicker but the flash will flash and then cycle through some colors and then flash again, Fade direct flashes only and Smooth will gradually fade through the colors. I'll really

    Very bright and versatile light. At first I was concerned that the receiver for the remote control was left out at the end of the cable next to the transformer and plug. It looks like an IR remote because the remote has a light emitter. It's actually an RF remote control, so it works whether it's in sight or not.     I've only been using it for a week or two but so far so good. Nice and bright - for those reviewers who were disappointed that it was too dark, I'm wondering if they know the brightness is adjustable.     I really like this light. I have others from another company that are a few dollars cheaper and don't change colors. It looks healthier, so the quality seems better. I purposely wanted the light to be dim as my bloodfin tetras don't seem to like the blinding light of the others I've talked about, in the same style, just blue and white.
