Good frying pan for the price. I chose this because I wanted to avoid non-stick coatings on the pan or grate. This is a good size for roasting chickens, although probably too small for most turkeys. I really like this pan and it's worth the money. I bought this for Thanksgiving and the 21 lb turkey is fine, it's a sturdy pan and the stainless steel grate it's so heavy. A pan fully loaded with turkey felt safe when removed from the oven, but thick oven mitts are a must. The grate is durable and can be easily removed from the pan. The pan does not have a non-stick coating, but is easy to clean. If necessary, I soak the pan in the sink overnight and the burnt material comes off immediately…

Almost perfect design but the model it replaces is made by Food Network. It has two metal rivets on each side near the handles. There are notches in the mesh section that fit over these pins and prevent the wire fragment from moving at all.
