Works best in the kitchen and dining room

I love this knife sharpener. It's sturdy and sharpens 4" to 8" knives from my set very well. No more mashed mushrooms and tomatoes! I like the two-stage sharpening method. Easy to use, easy to store.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Without automatic sharpening

I wish the instructions were clear

Tried with a sushi knife, seems ok. I followed the instructions on the back of the packaging. It just means holding the handle and moving the knife vertically. I had no idea how long or how fast it was supposed to be. It took me a while to see the difference.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Bad set

Not very good at sharpening

This sharpener doesn't do its job well. On the other hand, it's easier to use than my old whetstone. Cons: Doesn't sharpen blades well. My knives are only getting a little sharper. I'm sticking with old-fashioned whetstone technology.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Hard to say

don't know exactly how to use it

This knife sharpener is very small and the sharpening blades are also very small. I tried scissor blades first, and it seems the blade doesn't sharpen very well. I saw some small pieces come loose, but after nearly 10 iterations of the scissors across the blades, sharpening the scissors didn't seem to help much.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Big size and razor sharp blades

When it arrived it was bigger than we expected which is good. The sharpener has a solid construction and is incredibly easy to use. We use it to sharpen our pocket knives, filleting knives etc. The sharpening sides (one for standard and one for serrated) do an excellent job with a few pulls and between them and the whetstone we easily put our worn knives back in. to a razor sharp edge. All in all it gave us exactly what we needed, a way to quickly re-sharpen our knives and keep them sharp.

Pros
  • I keep my fists
Cons
  • Very expensive

Basic knife sharpener

I was intrigued by this two-stage Copco Edgekeeper knife sharpener because it's compact, simple and can be used for both regular and serrated knives. It's compact and comes with a lifetime limited warranty. As others have mentioned, it's disappointing that they didn't mark the slots. You must save the packaging information so you know which slot is which. I wish there were a little more instructions on how to use it properly. I watched some online videos to get an idea. After running the knife…

Solid, comfortable, works

This knife sharpener comes in a beautiful dark grey. The handle is very comfortable and fits my hand well. The blade sharpening mechanism consists of three ceramic rods, one for fine edge finishing, one for serrated knives (which I think will be difficult to achieve) and a third slot for "sharpening" which I believe is the ultimate sharpness of your knife. will have. The system works well. First you need to hold the knife at a 90 degree angle to the sharpener. and pull the knife towards you…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Please mark the slots!

We have an electric knife sharpener that we use on most of our knives but it doesn't fit serrated blades so I ordered this sharpener. It handles both serrated blades and straight blades with minimal effort. It fits comfortably in your hand and is small enough to hide in a desk drawer. However, my biggest issue with the sharpener is that there are three slots for sharpening different blade types, but they are not marked. The only way to tell which slot is which blade is by looking at the card in

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Protection
