We bought my husband a size up so they are easier to put on and take off. He has to wear compression stockings as he had a bleeding problem, but he had trouble putting socks on his heels and ankles. We love these socks and his feet feel better.

The fit is smooth and compresses without painful pressure. Attention, socks run small. Despite being on the cusp between large and extra large, I went for the larger size.

I like them more than hospital clothes, they are a little thicker and more comfortable. They also stay in place better than 3 other brands I've used. First, the listing is wrong! I only received 1 pair, had to call to order a replacement and guess what. Only 1 pair received! So that needs to be fixed first. Second, it is NOT easy!
