Robust design. Note that although the description uses 4" and 100mm interchangeably, it's actually not 4" (which would be 102mm) so you may need to enlarge the hole if you're trying to run a diameter duct through the hole . 4 inches.

Pros
  • Punch hole diameter 2-3/8" (60mm). Punch hole depth: 1-1/2" (38mm)
Cons
  • Obsolete

Acceptable but not great

The saw is good but be prepared for rough cuts - it doesn't have many teeth. I've used it on 3/4" hardwood plywood - the saw did the job, but I had to tape the exit or the veneer would tear. The quality is comparable to a 24-tooth blade on a 7.25-inch -Circular saw Not very strong - I made two practice and one "real" hole, and it's visible on the teeth of the blade.

Pros
  • Manufactured from M42 high speed steel. Sturdy, durable and rust resistant.
Cons
  • Can't remember

Only suitable for soft wood

The saw arrived with missing and bent teeth but I tried it anyway. It cut through two layers of 3/4" plywood well, but I wouldn't use it for anything other than fairly soft wood. Have I actually tried this on aluminum or cast iron? NO! But judging by the way he's doing it cutting plywood I think it would be inefficient at best and dangerous at worst. The teeth are quite large and if you buy this saw be careful when you start sawing - it's best to lower the saw slowly and tilt it easily into the…

Pros
  • Used for exposed cast iron panels, aluminum panels, plastic, wood
Cons
  • Not sure
