Have made several gift sets. They were all hits! I have a second set of tops. I might add that you can heat the caps under hot water and that will help put them on (dry well) OR use a hair dryer to heat them. This will make them stretch out a bit, which is all you need. Hope that helps! GRAM.

This was my second purchase. These little toppers are great. I have made salt and pepper shakers for my friends and family as well as for my home. You are a hit! The only problem is that it can be a bit difficult to remove from the top. But I guess you don't want them falling off when trying to salt/pepper your food!

I agree with other reviews that they are quite difficult to remove once on the bottle but you don't want anything to be too loose or risk losing it during dinner. just did it! I got it off with a butter knife without much trouble. It would be much more difficult if you used your hands less or had no strength. I would buy them again.

I bought these to make Corona salt and pepper shakers for lottery baskets to use at the Cinco de Mayo Benefit themed festival I attended. They fit perfectly on empty beer bottles and were super cute! We filled the bottles with torn Dollar Tree paper to indicate salt and pepper and they were absolutely delicious! I haven't seasoned them with real salt and pepper, but because they fit in the bottles well and look cute - they get a full five stars!

These are perfect for Coronita bottles. I used a mixture of salt and iodized salt to avoid getting too much salt out, this worked great. My only concern is removing the tops when it's time to fill them, which is almost possible without using a spoon or knife to pry them off. The lids have a small tab to open them, but they don't work. They are tight at the top, almost too tight. I assume this keeps the lid from coming off when using the shaker? Nevertheless I would buy again!

These caps are really amazing except for one problem. It's almost impossible to take the cap off the bottle when it's time to refill it with salt or whatever else you put in it. I tried risky with a knife but it didn't work. Finally I took a box cutter and made slits around the cap where I could finally remove it. I thought maybe it was a broken cap but I tried another one and it was very snug, it took some effort to put it on the bottle. Maybe the whole package I received was defective…

It works for CORONITAS! Just for your information. Also, they are really amazing. A great gift idea if you want to make a custom salt and pepper shaker for your bar or outdoor dining area. Very cute and it was very good as a Father's Day gift! While the holes are a bit small (salt and pepper came out just fine anyway), you can always enlarge them a bit yourself if needed. It's really nice that there are extra lids in the pack so you can have some extra for yourself and make some extra shakers…
