It's not very comfortable and definitely not thick enough. This made me sweat a lot more than the foam rubber and after a few months it started breaking for no reason at all as the headset is treated like a child. I don't know if it's a brand or something else but it wasn't worth it. .

I am very happy with this case. It's a thin silicone that's perfect for the Oculus Rift S's foam face seal. Easy to apply - just slowly slide over the foam pad and work around the VR mask. The pad now feels cool when applied to the face. A definite plus is that I can remove the seal before/after anyone in my family uses it. I highly recommend this product.

If I could give it 4.5 stars I would give it. The only (very small) problem I had was putting it on. This takes a minute, and if it's not quite right, it's not safe and may fall over. But once I got it right, it was fine. For me personally, it adds a bit of extra comfort, but that's probably due to the material. To be clear, this is just a cover, not meant to be extras. It just keeps the bezel from picking up sweat and does an excellent job.

I'll admit I was skeptical at first when I opened the packaging and found a flexible piece of silicone. However, I have decided to give this product an unbiased review - I removed the face interface from the Rift S and carefully placed this new silicone interface over the stock foam and I found it to fit perfectly and am happy to have my Rift use S now with skill. that my sweat would no longer soak into the foam but would rub off this new layer of silicone slightly. I bought this because the foam on my faceplate for my Rift S was peeling off the bottom and I thought it was a brand new rubber coated faceplate, not foam. Instead, ONLY a rubber coating is applied to the existing foam. However, it holds up well, locks in the foam underneath and keeps it from shifting so it works great, although it doesn't live up to my initial expectations. Pretty good product. I have read many posts about how stiff and crumbly the Rift S foam becomes after a few months of frequent use. The foam solution isn't particularly well designed or thought through. This cover solves that problem. I expect the foam to last a long time, or at least much longer. Ideally I would give this a 2.5 to split the difference but I round up for convenience. At a price a few bucks below the competition, it's not necessarily a bad product. This is a slight improvement over the headset's standard foam padding, and the shortcomings make me prefer using the headset with it than without.
