I haven't had to use them yet, but I feel a lot more comfortable knowing my Model Y has them in case I ever have an emergency and need to jack the car up. Most garages don't yet know what Tesla needs.

Because the base is hard rubber like a hockey puck, it's still soft enough to deform and flex when seated on a typical jack (not a welded-on mount). Jack, but on a Jack's main legs this is unacceptable and not believable unless perfectly centered, which is difficult.

I love that my wife's Tesla doesn't really need maintenance. All he needs are wheels to spin. Since I usually maintain my car myself, I would definitely do it myself. So I took these jack pads that were made specifically for Tesla - they look like hockey pucks with an extra center "cleat" with an o-ring on them so they fit snugly into the jack points on the car. Used on Tesla Model 3. Good pads that stay in place, a bit difficult to pull out but better than unsticking. Removing the pads caused one of the rings to come loose, but it stood up again. The pads are a bit softer than I would like, but they do the job.

Because the base is like a hockey puck, the durable rubber remains soft enough to warp and flex when seated on a regular jack (no pinch mount). When the jack is standing, this is unacceptable and untrustworthy unless it is perfectly centered, which is difficult.

The pads fit exactly into the jack socket and do not fall out. They fall out when the o-ring is removed. Only time will tell how the red o-ring will hold up with proper use, but as this is an occasional use item it should last a long time. Measurements are correct although the weight on my scale shows 150g which is a negligible difference.
