Even better than I hoped

We've been looking for some time for a router with advanced DHCP management and internet access via cellular, ethernet or even another router's WIFI. We kept finding devices that performed some of these functions, but not all. Or, if they had some of those features, they lacked the necessary router features that controlled the allocation of IP addresses. And it was only after using this CradlePoint for a few weeks that we discovered even more features like "WIFI as WAN". Our sales team had to…

Does what it's supposed to do

Super after 1 day so far. Use it with Verizon's LG VL600 as your main rural Internet source without cable or DSL. I was using a laptop with a shared internet connection connected to my router. But then the laptop had to be connected to the router 24/7. So far I've gotten slightly faster D/L speeds on Cradlepoint than a laptop running Verizon's Access Manager, up to 212kbps when connected to 3G, I've never driven around 180k. Our home is out of range of 4G promotions. Can't comment on the built…

Works well, MUCH better as a cell phone hotspot

This device paired with a Pantech/Verizon UML290 worked right out of the box. Setup was very easy and the throughput is orders of magnitude higher than the cellular "hotspot" I use. Recently updated the firmware - no problems observed. I haven't noticed any issues with 4G/IP connectivity or disconnection yet. It takes about a minute for the device to boot up and establish a working 4G/IP connection, but I don't see that as a problem. As a Linux/networking engineer, I am happy to have support…

90% Great for computers and accessories

I bought this to replace the Cradlepoint MBR 900 which worked fine with my 3G/4G card but was not able to transfer as much data as 4G in became available in my area. . I am mostly satisfied with this purchase. Good: Works great with Verizon UML 290 and my Wilson 4G LTE signal booster kit. Aesthetically pleasing and takes up quite a bit of space on my desk. Keeps a connection and recovers on its own most of the time. Provides a near-reliable, always-on 4G connection. Bad: This would have gotten…

MBR95 Networking Products

First, if you look at this, Revain suggests that you buy a 10-foot Ethernet cable. It comes with a 5ft cord in the box, so measure before ordering and you might save $6. I love being online with my laptop no matter where I am as I no longer have to worry about the aircard breaking and damaging the laptop's USB port (very expensive to repair). Please note that Cradlepoint Technical Support is only available during the Monday to Friday day shift. So do not plan any setup errors outside of these…

Ready to use in less than 60 seconds!

I have to admit that I was a bit hesitant based on several reviews on this product. But how glad I am that I made progress! I am using this with a Verizon Pantech UML290. Wanting to avoid problems, I went through the included manual to make sure I knew what I was doing. As expected, the instruction confirmed everything I thought. We plug in the modem, turn on the router, select the router from my WiFi list, enter the default password (handily printed on the bottom of the router. Brilliant!) and
