I love these soap molds!

Love love love these soap molds! If you have any doubts about purchasing these molds, don't hesitate any longer. These forms are without a doubt the best! Easy to clean, strong and durable.

Preserve deformed for shapes

These molds were received in poor condition. They were in plastic bags in a shipping box too big for them. They were both warped, so the soap bars I made didn't have nice square sides...they were tilted at a pretty steep angle. I only make soap for personal use so it doesn't matter. But they won't make the prettiest candy bars as gifts. I don't know if it was a manufacturing defect or the result of being delivered in a huge box. Aside from the shape, they were easy to use. Great for hot melting

I make 16 pounds of soap a batch and let them saponify in a mixing pot, all naturally insulated. Saponification usually takes about a week (sometimes 5 days). I monitor the conversion with a laser thermometer and see when the batch temperature is near or near room temperature, indicating the soap has finished reacting. Then I heat it in a double boiler, transfer the chunks to a smaller mixing bowl and add 190 proof Everclear and some glycerin. Then I pour (clap and slurp) hot, thick soup into…
