This holds over 2 pounds of soap. (melt and pour)

I love this soap mold. It makes a nice square soap! The only thing that annoys me about it is that everywhere I look for information on this form it says the form contains 2 pounds (melt and pour) of soap. I found it holds 2.5 pounds. If you only fill it up to 2 pounds, the soap will come out too small. I have attached a photo of two soaps I made using this form. Pink and purple on the left I used 2 pounds of soap and it came out too small. Purple and blue soap on the right I used 2.5 pounds of

got corrupted during this time to find the video I am talking about). That's great. The easiest trick I found to release the bar of soap from the mold was to pull back on the sides until you hear a slight click, then pull on the ends until you feel release. After that, turn the mold over and gently press the bottom with your thumbs. You will see the soap begin to get out of shape. After detaching it from the bottom, give it a little shake and you will feel it slide out. Don't worry, it comesโ€ฆ

I can't believe I didn't buy them years ago!

I just used this on 2 different loaves of cold soap. That was great! I will buy a few more to bake multiple loaves at once. For some reason every other silicone mold I've used has been a nightmare to extract soap from, but they are so easy to use. I have a very "soft" recipe that I use a lot, and with my wooden molds I had to wait 4 days before demolding them. Not so with these! I waited 24 hours after pouring, put it in the freezer for 30 minutes, turned it upside down and the soap came outโ€ฆ
