CRAFTSMAN Snap Ring Pliers Set (CMMT14115) Review

The tips dont stay on. Cheaply made for how expensive it is. The scissor area wont stay tight and they flex and send snap rings flying off the thing at your face

Extremely weak. I am removing small c-clips and they almost instantaneously will fold over and fail to function. I have tried them both in the squeeze to close, and squeeze to open configuration and they do the same thing. The c-clips I'm removing are on the back of lock bodies and are not very strong.If your purpose is to remove c-clips I would recommend going with another set. Buy once cry once, dont repeat mine and Manu others mistakes.These are pretty worthless

This snap ring plier is very weak, I can't use it, when you try to squeeze snap ring it bends and slips. Thanks for attention.

Good thing it csme with extra clips, Going to buy a better quality product. Don't want a throw away tool. That's my review.

Basic C clip pliers, seems nice in the hand. Always liked CRAFTSMAN products.Only con I could see is the logo possibly fading off the grips if you use brake cleen to clean off your tools regularly.

Used these to get the snap ring on and off of my cv axle during repair. They did the job. The studs on the ends of the pliers are very small so it was a little difficult to keep the snap ring open, but I got it with a little patience. If I had to do this everyday I would buy a set with wider tips. Neat modular design that lets you use multiple different sets of plier tips, just by unscrewing a small bolt. I bought these to remove the snap ring on my Oster dog clippers so I can perform maintenance on the motor. It took three people several attempts to get the snap ring removed because they kept slipping out of the holes. Pretty disappointed.
