Slips off snap ring

I bought these to remove the snap ring on my Oster dog clippers so I can perform maintenance on the motor. It took three people several attempts to get the snap ring removed because they kept slipping out of the holes. Pretty disappointed.

Pros

They work well on smaller snap rings but it’s a little tougher with the bigger ones

Cons

The size is good but the teeth (short) do not grab lock rings deep enough.
