Excellent impact wrench for the money

Craftsman continues to make products that work like they were made for a commercial user. This impact wrench works flawlessly for me to take my mulching blades off of my Cub Cadet.

Pros
  • Great valve good battery life short charger time would recommend to anyone
Cons
  • No vibration damping technology for reduced hand fatigue

Awesome impact! - my new review

This thing kicks butt. So far it has exceeded my expectations. It's a bit on the heavy side, but has lots power. It's taken off any lug nuts, bolts, or fasteners I've used it on with no problem. Very pleased with the purchase, and still working great many projects and months later

Had potential to be better!

The impact is a over all a good tool to have, I work in a auto shop and well the torpedo design is kinda awkward in certain situations. the overall power/torque of it in my opinion should have been increased cause you get this big body half drive and not exactly the power to match it.

Works on lugnuts in my review

Purchased so I could remove lugnuts. It works great. Loosens each lugnut in under a second. Saved me the hassle Of manually removing the lugnuts. Also peace of mind if I should get a flat that I can change my tire quickly on the side of the road.

  • This is a better product than I thought. Just what I needed to work on my cars and trucks.

  • Heavy vibrations during use can cause screws or bolts to come loose

Decent impact: my feedback

Needed an impact that wouldn't weigh me down and I was already in the Craftsman battery line up. This impact could be a little stronger. Battery lasts well on it. It's rated at 275 in/lbs but it's really putting out about 330-340 in/lbs. Still not the highest but better than average among impacts in this price range.

  • I use it for automotive on a daily basis. Works great

  • Battery cannot be interchanged with other battery sizes or brands
