Looks cool didn't work well not that cool

I'll start by saying I love Crank Brothers and will continue to recommend their pedals. Customer service is amazing too. I mean really good service. One of the people who worked on the development of this dropper actually worked with me and was very helpful when I had problems. I also think the omnidirectional handlebar mount is pretty cool. However, the Highline drip didn't always work. Sometimes it worked well, most of the time it crawled up or down very slowly and was frustrating as hell. So

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • No performance

Purchased to replace a Giant contact switch which cartridge has expired. Installation was very easy. Worked great on my first ride, thought it started creeping towards the end. My second ride, after 7 miles, it was completely unusable. I ended up raising the seatpost higher than the frame and kicking out of the saddle on climbs. I was a little annoyed. I contacted the seller and although he apologized they could only accept the return for a refund and not an exchange. Luckily CrankBros is right

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good product! Best in Parts & Components

I can't see how this product can be beat, especially at this price point. The remote is very versatile in terms of placement. You can easily build this into any setup. Installation may take some time, but the main thing is to make sure that the place where the cable is attached to the bottom of the rack is done according to the instructions (on the cable attachment and on the bottom there is an arrow of the to be aligned post). If done correctly, you shouldn't have a problem with the strut…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Functionality
