Crawl Space Recessed Foundation Cover Review

Much better quality than I feared. Thick, durable plastic, but still a bit pricey. Should succeed in my encapsulation project.

I thought it would be possible to mount the cover directly onto the air vent but it wasn't. However, I found a way to use the cover with a couple of screws.

Crawl box lid works and is made of high quality plastic. Delivery was quick. The only problem is that it's quite expensive for a piece of plastic.

I have a brick house and they have turned out better than I expected and look good. The seller also offers great customer service and fast shipping. I highly recommend these when caulking crawl spaces.

A piece of plastic shaped to look like an air vent. The plastic is decently thick, but I have no idea why it costs so much. If I had another cheaper option I would take it, but there doesn't seem to be much. Nonetheless, they arrived as promised and work as advertised.

Very good for underground vent holes. Using a vent cover with a seasonal weather seal means an easy vent replacement next spring. I placed the temperature probe underground and was relieved to see that the underground temperature stayed above 40°F while it was around 0°F and windy outside in Michigan.

Very, very overpriced. They shouldn't cost more than $5-10 each. They are brittle and break very easily. Hey, I'm stupid enough to buy them. They work, but again too expensive. They should also be offered in gray because the concrete is gray. Not black because concrete is not black. So you have to paint them, which takes more money and time.
