If you want to install it on Ender-5, please flash Ender-5 firmware. You can download firmware from Official website. Driver - TMC2225 driver & Creality V0.0.6 firmware ( based on Marlin 2.0.1) for V4.2.7 board. Bootloader has been preinstalled. Update Firmware - Please copy the firmware file to a formated SD card with no other files in it. Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord. Insert the SD card & power cord, and turn on the printer. Wait 10s to complete the firmware updating process. Thermal runaway protection is enabled. Works better than standard board

The original printer had a broken hole. After contacting support it seemed like it would take forever to get a new one so I just ordered this one. It worked great until I fried it with a bad ingredient and since then I've bought 3 more which have been good quality each time.

Pros
  • driver - TMC2225 driver and Creality V0.0.6 firmware (based on Marlin 2.0.1) for V4.2.7 board. The boot loader is pre-installed.

The nozzle kept crashing into the bed, an update with this board 4.2.7 fixed the problem.

After installing the Blatche, the nozzle kept crashing into the bed and the alignment process kept failing. Upgrading to 4.2.7 with this board fixed the problem. If you're having the same issues, do yourself a favor and get this board. The installation is quite easy.

Works as expected, installation tips included.

This board is a slightly newer version of the one in my Ender 3 V2. My board is version 4.2.2 and this new board is version 4.2.7. Functionally, apart from the need to use different factory firmware, both boards behave almost the same. This will be a much more drastic change if you're upgrading from a regular Ender 3 or Ender 5. My old board had hot glue on all the connectors. If you spray the glue with 90% isopropyl alcohol it will come off very easily. It will help if your connectors are…
