Non-Aluminum Heater Block

This Heater Block weighs half the weight of the original Aluminum Heater Block that came with my CR-10 V2, suggesting that it's not solid aluminum, it is is a type of composite metal. . In addition, there are no adjustment screws for the heater, no fastening screws for the radiator (radiator) and no fastening screws for the temperature sensor. Note: The dimensions of this thermal block correspond to those of the original thermal block.

Pros
  • Hands-Free Operation
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Nozzle comes out when printing

I installed a new fuser, calibrated and printed a small project. It came out well so I decided to go for a big one. We started in the afternoon (it took 5 hours) and went to dinner. When I came back the photos said it all. After investigating it a bit I found that the filaments were too big so with long prints and pressure on the nozzle it just popped out. So the saying is true, you only get what you pay for!

(Not sure, OEM seems to be it) Cons It seems to have a different thermal conductivity than the stock Ender 3 hotend. Heats up slower and stays hot longer. I actually had to turn the heat down for some pla I used to run at 200. (Not that big of a problem at all, lol.) People here say the coating is wearing off, but so does the OEM unit, so it's not a problem. . This…

  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Socket Required
