I bought this roller for a specific use. I received it, it was well packed. However, when I started using it, the damn thing cracked on the first throw. I would ask for my money back but I know it would be a waste of time. Please don't waste yours.

So disappointed with this rolling pin. First, I never got the base that the rolling pin was supposed to sit on. Then, after only using it a couple of times, the handles buckled and a small sliver ended up in my cookie dough. I had to throw away the dough. Save money and buy another product.

Since I'm new to dough rolling and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a silicone needle, I decided on this marble needle. I ordered it just before Christmas and the company kept contacting me to find out when I can expect it. Then they ran out of white marble and I had a choice of waiting for arrival or replacing it with another color at no extra charge. I chose a different color. The only good things I have to say are the looks and the weight. However, I have many negative comments. The stone looks amazing but has not been properly finished leaving parts of the roller rough and pitted which makes cleaning difficult and can ruin the finish of what you are trying to smooth. Not a single hole was drilled straight, the handles don't fit the reel which is annoying.
