Very disappointed - kettle

I recently redecorated the kitchen in yellow-turquoise. I bought this teapot precisely because of its COLOR and no other reason. I've had it for about two months and about 8" x 1" color was gone. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Worthy performance
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

5 years later. best in pot

I bought the turquoise color and although it started to fade in some places, the kettle as a whole has held up. Some have mentioned that they started to rust after a year, mine just started to rust after 5 years of use. I also dry it after each use. Finally need a replacement, will order again.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Frequency

I love color! Doesn't whistle.

Nice colour. Does what the kettle is supposed to do; boils water. Doesn't whistle. Rises aggressively loud. As. You kind of hear 'something' in the background and can't figure out what it is, so you follow the noise and find it furiously smoking on the stove and remind yourself that you were about to make yourself a cup of tea. 4.5 true. The water was pretty hot. Just. No whistle.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

BEWARE OF IDIOTS the best teapots

This teapot looks quite nice in real life (although the handle looks so garish in the photos). I've used the kettle dozens of times but always poured through the spout. Why remove the lid? Well, one day I took the lid off to fill from the top. Inside I found the cooked leftovers of the instructions. WARNING: PAPER INSTRUCTIONS ARE INSIDE THE TANK. Very embarrassing on the part of the manufacturer as it comes in a box that could well have included instructions. Instead, they made the idiotic…

Teapot Creative Home Metal Turquoise

I've wanted one of these metal teapots (turquoise) for a long time, but they've been consistently sold out, here and a few other places! Finally. I have a! As long as I like it! It is very light, which is sometimes confused with cheapness. My last one was very expensive and very heavy without water! I could barely lift it when it was full! My only constructive criticism is that the tilt of the handle makes it difficult to remove the lid. I have small hands, someone with big hands will have a…

Excellent x2 the best in the kitchen and dining room

my mother gave me this kettle a few years ago. It was Gevalia's promotion that she received with the tea. I've used it *DAILY* for a few years. Pros: Water boils quickly. The whistle is just right, not too loud and not too soft. If you leave water in it for a long time, it may rust. Do not raise the temperature above average and you will extend the life of this kettle. I accidentally put my kettle that was too hot on a cheap trivet and melted the trivet onto the bottom. I looked everywhere and…

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • no paint needed

Great kettle for the price

This kettle works great. I was surprised at how big it was when it arrived, but it's my fault for not reading the details. I only need enough water for 1 cup of coffee, but it boils a lot faster when it's not full and wide. I really wanted a ceramic kettle but I have a glass hob and I've read that they don't mix well together so I went with this one. It's very light, but the plastic doesn't feel cheap. I was a bit worried about the grip after a few complaints, but it seems solid enough. If…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons

You get what you pay for.

I read other reviews before I bought it and I use it almost daily since it arrived last month. As for the instructions on the kettle: I bought a Sam's Club kettle a few years ago that had the name of a famous TV chef on it. This teapot also had paper stuck to the spout and I only found it after using the teapot for a few weeks (phew!). I couldn't get the paper out and sent the kettle back. Between that experience and the comment in the review, I knew to look inside before using it for the first

  • too stupid
