Great for power tools and hand tools

A great product if you are working on brakes using a standard wrench on a flare nut to remove them. A set at this price is worth having the right tool. To get the job done right the first time, why change the flare nut and reflare the line when you don't have to and don't have to use the right tool

    • Great for a small home

Must have tools. Best in Power Tools and Hand Tools

A quality essential tool when working on brakes or clutches to avoid damaging the nuts (I hate when that happens). Last month I had to replace the master cylinder and bleed the brake lines as well as replace the clutch master and slave cylinders on another car. I'm so glad to have these keys handy.

    Great brake line tools

Needed something quick to do some work on the brake lines on my '98 Civic DX hatchback. Worked great for the master cylinder and metering valve. Not sure if they will last long but they seem to be of good quality. And no matter how infrequently I have to work with lines, they will likely last a lifetime.

If you enjoy working on your own vehicles, this tool is a must!

Changed fuel filter on a 2003 Toyota Tundra, tried to unscrew it with a wrench, immediately noticed the nut was getting round so stopped and researched the internet and found out about union nut wrenches he is holding the union nut better, and it unscrewed immediately. This tool is a must!

Incredible wrenches should cost more but I'm not complaining :)

These adjustable wrenches are incredibly high quality and can still be bought for twice the price. I was lucky to buy them. Without these keys I would never have been able to flush the brake fluid. It fits perfectly on a rusty, stuck air vent. I was able to loosen the head of the screw without rounding or breaking it. Of course, WD-40 helped a lot too.

Perfect fit for the flat nut of the 99 Sonoma master cylinder.

Make sure you really need the standard set before you assume you need it. I've tried all of my metric wrenches, including a set of flared nuts, and found them to be too loose. I pulled out my standard open end wrenches and the 9/16 fit perfectly. The problem was that I needed a flare wrench to loosen the master cylinder flare nuts without stripping them off. When they arrived I tried very hard and the flare nuts came loose without rounding them off. I've worked with cars for over 20 years and…

Quality tool kit for power tools and hand tools

I was pleasantly surprised that these tools are so well made. The quality, fit and finish was exactly what I have come to expect from Crescents in the past. The Crescent brand has always been the best and apparently still is. They are thick, strong, smooth, polished and shiny. I bought these to use on my Ford F150 truck to replace the master cylinder. They are used for brake lines to avoid deforming soft metal nuts with a standard wrench. The last key I bought for this purpose was from a key…

    Great price, good quality.

I needed a set of flare/brake wrenches. I have some good name brand box wrenches that work great, but I wanted to try a set of Flare wrenches for a brake line project. I didn't want to spend a fortune on wrenches that I could use every 2 years. Cresent is an old fashioned brand that I can trust to deliver decent quality. The brake lines shouldn't be overtightened, so I won't put insane pressure on those wrenches, so I'm sure the materials are ok. I ended up getting all the SAE and metric sets…

These guys' ratings are pretty bad, and there are some notable ones.

They're cheap so that's their plus. I was hoping that I could get by with a cheap set of box wrenches, but I was wrong. Tolerances on these guys are pretty bad, and when you put them on a bolt they wobble noticeably. Also, the chrome work looks fine until you start looking at the actual exposed end area and see some issues with the chrome. With their help, I broke the brake line nut very badly, although that's not entirely the fault of the wrenches. The threads were poorly tacked and the…
