Exactly what I was looking for: a large self-healing mat for sewing and crafting. The photo in the product description with the purple pattern is actually the back of the rug. There is a super useful mesh with inch sizes on the front.

Since my space is limited, the pad is also a great mouse pad. I put it on the table next to the keyboard. My desk folds in half and a mat helps for three purposes. 1-For the original purpose 2-For a large mouse pad 3-Helps prevent my cutting pad from getting stuck between table folds.

Nice reversible mat and great size. It fits perfectly on half of my craft table and protects the table from scratches. However, they either sent me a used mat or a defective and damaged mat. It came with no packaging, just a label stuck down with dirty tape.
